Off my spinning wheel is my first art yarn with thread plying and autowrapping. I spun some BFL singles (stolen from Michelle, wink, wink) during the GLOW show last weekend (talk of spinning in public!). Then I plyed it with Patons UK Misty and used golden thread I had gotten of Joasia some time ago. I am very excited with the final look of yarn. BFL singles are almost the same off-white (natural) colour as Misty. The golden thread adds a lot of sparcle, some great textures and this expensive look.

Z kołowrotka zeszła właśnie złota artystyczna włóczka. Pierwszy raz bawiłam się ze skręcaniem 2ply z komercyjną nicią i z autoowijaniem. Single ukręciłam w miejscu publicznym z naturalnej wełny BFL (podkradzionej Michelle). Splotłam ją z Patons UK Misty i wykończyłam pozwalając złotej nici (otrzymanej jakiś czas temu od Joasi). Efekt końcowy całkowicie mnie zaskoczył. Misty i BFL mają prawie taki sam kolor a złota nić daje włóczce nie tylko trochę blasku, sporo tekstur i ten drogi wygląd.
